2008年，首届森博会在浙江义乌举行，取得巨大成功。共有450家国内外企业参展，设标准展位730个，美国、加拿大、印尼、台湾等63个国家和地区的8.2万名客商到会参观、采购，成交额10.95亿元，经贸性突出、国际性明显，规模、档次、成交额均居国内同类展会前列。森博会已成为全国森林产品走向国内外市场的重要桥梁，森林产品生产企业寻求商机的重要平台，让我们共同期待，相约2009中国义乌（国际）森林产品博览会。
In 2008 the first session of China Yiwu (International) Forestry Products Fair (Forestry Fair for short) was held in Yiwu with tremendous success. 2008 Forestry Fair accommodates 730 international standard booths, and attracted 450 exhibiting companies home and abroad, as well as 82,000 buyers and visitors from 63 countries and regions like the USA, Canada, Indonesia and Taiwan. The trade volume reached 1.095 billion yuan during the Forestry Fair, which featured trade and internationalization. In terms of scale, grade and trade volume, the Forestry Fair ranks top among the fairs of the same kind in China. The Forestry Fair has become an important bridge for Chinese forestry products to enter domestic and overseas market, and a valuable platform for forestry products manufacturers to seek business opportunities. Let us, therefore, meet at 2009 China Yiwu (International) Forestry Products Fair.
